Hope has been in love with music her entire life, but her first introduction to playing music was when her school added music to the curriculum. She was handed an acoustic guitar and was taught a few chords, and understood it immediately, she was fluently playing a two chord progression after only one lesson. She went home that night and immediately asked her parents to get her a guitar. A few months later, a classmate asked if Hope knew any songs, so she played him Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Initially, it was only the classmate and a few others listening, but slowly the rest of the class quietened down and listened to her singing. The popup performance ended with the bell ringing, and a round of applause from the class. From that point on, she fell in love with playing the guitar, and she knew that was her calling.
